26th June - L.A's Finest Officially Picked Up By Charter

It was considered one of the front runners of pilot season with Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union both attached to the show, which came with a hefty price tag, and since NBC decided against ordering the show to series producers Sony have been in lengthy discussions with multiple platforms over the show. Now Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that the show has been picked up to series by Charter for a 13 episode run. It is estimated that the show will premiere in 2019.

25th June - A Discover Of Witches Trailer



New drama A Discovery of Witches is based on the novel of the same name by Deborah Harkness (from her All Souls trilogy), and is set to debut later this year on Sky1.

Filmed in Wales in the newly-minted Bad Wolf studios (a space opened by former Doctor Who producers Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner), the series follows a young academic (Teresa Palmer) who begins to reconnect with her witch heritage after meeting a charming vampire (Matthew Goode).

As of yet there is no air date for the show, but it is expected the series will air on Sky 1 towards the end of summer/early autumn and possibly in September.

THE WEATHER FORECAST IS IN: THE RAIN WILL RETURN…..

Summer may be just around the corner, but further rain is expected... Netflix has renewed its first Danish original series The Rain for a second season. The acclaimed series created by Jannik Tai Mosholt, Esben Toft Jacobsen and Christian Potalivo resonated with audiences globally including the U.S, UK, Brazil, France and Germany as well as its native Denmark. The series will go back into production later this year and will launch in 2019.

Kelly Luegenbiehl, Vice President of International Originals for Netflix, said: “We’re really excited to team up with the talented cast and our team of amazing creators for another season. The Rain has a relatable and human story at its core and touches on universal themes everyone can identify with. The fact that season 1 reached audiences all over the world, proves once again that strong stories can transcend borders.”

25th May 2018 - Alyson Hannigan & More Join Kim Possible Movie

ALYSON HANNIGAN, CONNIE RAY, TODD STASHWICK, TAYLOR ORTEGA, CIARA WILSON AND ERIKA THAM JOIN THE CAST OF THE LIVE-ACTION ‘KIM POSSIBLE‘ DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE

Alyson Hannigan (“How I Met Your Mother”) and Connie Ray (“The Big C”) join the cast of “Kim Possible,” the live-action Disney Channel Original Movie based on the global hit animated series about an everyday high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from villains. Hannigan will play the role of brain surgeon Dr. Ann Possible (aka Mom Possible) and Ray will play grandmother Nana Possible.

Also joining the cast are Todd Stashwick (“12 Monkeys”) and Taylor Ortega who will play fan-favorite villains Drakken and Shego, respectively; Ciara Wilson (“OMG!”) has been cast as new high school student Athena; and Erika Tham (“Make It Pop”) will play Kim’s childhood frenemy, Bonnie.

They join the previously announced leads, Sadie Stanley as Kim Possible and Sean Giambrone as Ron Stoppable, in the comedy-adventure set to debut in 2019.

Hannigan can also be heard as the voice of Fancy Nancy’s mom, Claire Clancy, in Disney Junior’s upcoming animated series “Fancy Nancy,” based on the New York Times bestselling books.

The writers of the “Kim Possible” live-action movie are the creators of the animated series, Emmy® Award-winning Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley (“Big Hero 6 The Series,” “The Penguins of Madagascar”), and Josh Cagan (“The DUFF,” “Bandslam”). The executive producers are McCorkle, Schooley and Zanne Devine, whose producing credits include “I, Tonya” and “Easy A.” The movie will be co-directed and co-produced by Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky (both of Disney XD’s “MECH-X4”). Blyth Nailling (ABC’s “Last Man Standing” and “Scrubs”) is the casting director.
