It was previously revealed that Jake Gyllenhaal has joined the sequel as villain Mysterio. Now Deadline have revealed that J.B Smoove has been cast in Far From Home.
Sony are of course refusing to comment, and nobody is revealing at this stage what role he'll be playing but Deadline are reporting he will be a lead. Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei and Zendaya are all returning to the sequel, whilst Jon Watt is directing
The movie is currently scheduled to be released on the 5th July next year. At current J.B Smoove is on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', and he is expected to shoot his role before returning to the show.
