New Album 'Young and Brave' From Speak, Brother is Out Friday

James Herring (frontman and songwriter) says: "As babies and young kids we were so unaware of failure. So blissfully ignorant of racisim, sexism, or any cultural divides. This song is an attempt to look back through those wide fearless eyes again and maybe when we look out to other groups of people we can find a brother or sister and our own world becomes a much bigger place. Interestingly, 'Father' sums up quite well the core theme of the Young & Brave album".

Previous singles were Magnificent, Lions Roar and Magnesium Burn...

Remaining dates on the UK tour:

Friday 13/04/18 - Thousand Island, London
Sunday 15/04/18 - Hare and Hounds, Kings Heath, Birmingham

Recent Media Achievements:

- In November BBC Georgey Artist of the Week with national plays of Lions Roar and Magnificent (last two singles)
- Also in November, BBC 2 REV Kate Bottley played Magnificent calling it "Lovely"
- Plays by Clare Balding on Radio 2 in September and the live set on her show in Feb with single "He'll Fight”

"I was genuinely blown away by this track"

Chris Straw, Bauer Radio

“A piece of class.”

Brody Swain, BBC C & W introducing

Boasting a powerful indie-folk-rock sound with subtle hymnal and gospel tones, their story based anthems have drawn comparisons to the likes of Of Monsters and Men, Kodaline and Fleet foxes.

“Their mix of passion and emotive storylines are quite irresistible”
