5 Songs From CONTROLRadioUK Artists

You've seen our New Music Fridays and 5 picks of songs we think are pretty neat from non CONTROLRadioUK Artists. Well in this brand new feature, we're bring you 5 songs from CONTROLRadioUK Artists. These songs were chosen by our CEO/Director Trisha Benjamin, so without further ado!

This is a really nice, chilled song perfect for the summer time. 'Vanilla' is a song that has come quite close to making the CONTROLRadioUK Charts on quite a few occasions now and it surely won't be long before Hanne Mjøen is blowing up in the mainstream market.

'Cotton to Silk' is quite an emotional, yet uplifting song from Tupelo perfectly matched with a music video that dare I say pulls at the heartstrings even more? The end of the video particularly leaves happy tears in the eys, and I love the way the music changes to represent the turning point of the song.

I honestly find animated music videos so fascinating. There's so much work that has to go into every frame of them, and with videos like this you can clearly see that a lot of love has gone into the creation. 'Hot Girl' was released by an all star cast in support of the American Cancer Society. Most of what could be said about this song was said in the press release, and all I can add is that it's a terrific song for a terrific cause.

Who needs a coffee fix to wake you up when you can just have a Rock jam warming up your ears? Because that's exactly what The Spectors have done here with 'Borderline'. I love the mild key change in the chorus, the video has some neat effects to it and this song has been routed to my playlist.

With a name like Man eat Grass, you know you're going to be in for something wonderful when you click play, especially when the song is called 'Ya Block the Sun' and they more than deliver here. It's the type of moody Rock song that is perfect for Tuesday afternoon blues, and the video is just as thought provoking.
