Monique Angele NEW SINGLE 'Our Paradise' Out Now From New EP "Alive" Out Sepember 7th 2018

Monique Angele, a unique Canadian singer-songwriter currently based in Australia, is set to release her latest EP Alive on September 7th 2018. This hotly anticipated EP features a mix of modern pop, classical, soul elements and consists of a wide range of lyrical content - love, hope, depression, human rights and political change. Our Paradise is the lead single from the EP.

Our Paradise was inspired by the natural beauty of Australia. It’s about trying to find your paradise and happiness. The track was written and performed by Monique with production from Sean O'Sullivan. It was mastered by Joe Carra from Crystal Mastering

"I was inspired to release this EP because I wanted to create something that pushed the boundaries in regards to songwriting, production and subject matter. I believe each song dives into the raw emotions and passions of what it feels like to be "alive" and to be fearless in expressing oneself. Monique's performance history makes her no stranger to the stage, possessing a background in solo piano and voice repertoire, opera and musical theatre which you can definitely see these influences in her original music. She has performed extensively throughout Canada, Australia and London, UK. She will be performing upcoming shows in Canada and Australia in next few months.
