Supergirl's cast just got a little bigger!
Azie Tesfai, who was most recently on Jane The Virgin, is going to recur on season 4 of The CW superhero show as James Olsen's sister Kelly Oslen according to deadline. The character is described as an intelligent and insightful woman who spent time in the military in order to pay for medical school. She’s recently discharged from the military and is currently finishing her training as a psychiatrist. She’s got a large heart and cares deeply about others.
This news comes just a day after word that casting is currently underway for an actor to take up the iconic role as Lex Luthor. He is a character that has often been referenced on the show due to his sister Lena Luthor and mother Lillian appearing on the show, and it has been confirmed that Lex will make an appearance at some point in season 4. Speculation has of course gone into overdrive over whether Michael Rosenbaum will reprise his most famous role having played the character during Smallville's 10 season run, and stranger things have happened in the world of television!
