Despite Damon Wayans recently revealing that he intends to quit the show after the initial 13 episode order, it was revealed tonight by Variety that Fix has ordered 2 additional episodes of the cop drama and Damon Wayans is set to appear in those episodes.
The show has been plagued by a number of behind the scenes issues since it first came to air. Clayne Crawford found out last year through the media that he had been fired from the show for alleged misconduct, which he has repeatedly refuted and the show has faced a massive backlash from fans since he left.
Whilst he has since been replaced by Seann William Scott, the shows ratings remain modest at best and there are question marks over whether it will manage to get a 4th season.
Deadline have since shared that Damon spoke with producers last week to work out framework that would help him adjust to the shooting schedule so as not to impact severely on his health, and special diabetic meals are being brought on set for him.
