Netflix To Distribute Internationally

Titans is an all-new 11 episode live-action drama series that follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

Netflix will stream the series globally to its members outside of the US and China.

Executive Producers are Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Greg Walker and John Fawcett.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Minka Kelly and Alan Ritchson.

Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

With much anticipation surrounding the show and its streaming site, DC have unveiled the first look at the Titans TV show, with the trailer above.

Extremely gritty and moody in its tone, the odd swear words and a penance for violence, it's fair to say that the show will be fairly adult orientated. Titans focuses on Robin and the teen characters first introduced in the early 1980s by the Teen Titans comic by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, namely Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy.

DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Digital Networks have unveiled new details about DC Universe, the upcoming streaming service that combines original and archive video content, comic books and more. The news, including pricing information and pre-order deals, came Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con. Coinciding with the launch of the DC Universe Experience, a pop-up attraction at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, DC and Warner Bros. announced that pre-orders for DC Universe have opened at DCUniverse.com for an annual fee of $74.99 (plus tax, in applicable areas), with a monthly subscription of $7.99 also available at launch. All fans who pre-order before launch will receive an additional three months at no cost.

Titans will debut at New York Comic-Con (October 3) but officially premiere on DC Universe, October 12.
