Joanna Eden NEW SINGLE 'Hello You' Out Now, From Her Forthcoming New Album 'Truth Tree' Out 19th October 2018 + Tour Dates

‘Hello You’

FROM THE ALBUM ‘TRUTH TREE’ Released 19th October 2018

‘Hello You’ is the fantastic new single from singer-songwriter Joanna Eden and is taken from her forthcoming album ‘Truth Tree’. The message is clear, simple and beautiful….love could be waiting for you.

“Definitely worth seeking this one out!”
- Sir Michael Parkinson (BBC Radio 2)

Lincolnshire born Joanna Eden wrote and performed her first song at just age 7. The daughter of a musician and a drama teacher, she could read music before she could write, studied piano from age 4 and left university 17 years later with her first tour, an all consuming love of Ella Fitzgerald and a weakness for drummers!

Since then, Joanna has performed her original music all over the world alongside world-class artists including Jamie Cullum, Buena Vista Social Club, Ronan Keating and The Blockheads.

Joanna also holds a passion for teaching and amongst her students she includes international star Sam Smith, who she taught singing for some 9 years, starting when he was just 10 years old. During this period she also introduced him to songwriting, co-writing and producing. She is very proud that he cites Joanna simply as “the reason I sing”.

“Brilliant!” – Jamie Cullum

In spring 2018, Joanna featured as a judge on BBC One’s singing show ‘All Together Now’ and found the experience a conflicting one, ultimately concluding that singing competitions are “unhealthy and flawed”.
