Fresh from touring with Steps, securing a Top 10 club chart single with his last single release ‘Sugar Rush’, Max Restaino has just confirmed a London headline show and a major guest support tour!
Max has recently been in the studio with the legendary producer Steve Levine (Beach Boys, Culture Club, Honeyz, America, Denice Williams, Gary Moore) , who has produced his brand-new singe ‘Angels Cry’ which is set for release on May 4th.
At just 21 years old, Max Restaino has amassed a wealth of experience working with some of the biggest names in show business from Gary Barlow to Donny Osmond, LA Film Director Mark S Jacobs of Glee & Kitchen Nightmares USA and even Peter Kayon his Car Share & Phoenix Nights live projects.
Max is very well known on the UK live circuit. He’s extensively toured the UK with his band, building up a steady fan base, plus appearing as main tour support artist for Rebecca Ferguson’s UK Tour in 2016, which included prestigious venues such as The London Palladium. He has also recently supported UB40, U2 and The Vamps.
In 2017, Max hit the road again with his troupe of dancers ,guest supporting to the infamous pop band, Steps –@officialsteps - on their extensive sell out UK Arena Tour #partyonthedancefloor.
Last year, massively multi-talented Max finished his debut album ‘The Time It Takes,’ performing ALL instruments on it himself. He is an incredibly gifted musician and at a very young age had mastered all main ‘band’ instruments, including saxophone and even the accordion! Max also wrote and produced the whole album himself.
For his self-penned ‘Fall’ Max recently received a song writing award from PRS For Music and it became a winning song for the music society’s endorsed SKY TV song writing series ‘Tin Pan Alley’, voted by a panel of 80 music industry experts and hosted by legendary Radio 1 DJ, Mike Read.
The end of 2017 saw club release versions of ‘Sugar Rush’ & ‘No’. Both singles achieved high entries in the club charts with ‘Sugar Rush’ reaching No. 10 in the UK Club Charts and the Max Restaino Remix EP, (which includes Sugar Rush, No, The Time It Takes, Life Is Real & Fire Flies) charted at No. 5 in the Club Commercial Pop Chart.
These recent single releases achieved extensive radio play across the UK, including 98 club specialist radio stations, plus Bauer’s Metro Radio and a lot of help from BBC Introducing. Max additionally received great support from the BBC local radio network, with many programmes inviting Max and his band to perform live on their shows.
