Blackjack Love is the brainchild of Azza Sergent (former songwriter / lead guitarist of The Brompton Mix, managed by Jam drummer Rick Buckler). Azza is a songwriter / producer from Woking. He wrote, played & produced Bullets & Blues, his debut album under Blackjack Love.
The album was mastered by legendary producer Jon Astley. He is a Celestion endorsee on their Partners In Tone project. Part of the album was recorded in LA @ Studio City Sound.
He has played in The States several times, at places like Pappy & Harriet's in Joshua Tree, as well as places all over LA. Past gigs have included The IndigO2, 229 Club, Mr Kypes to name a few.
Previously Supported Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, The Blockheads & Beady Eye's aftershow party in Brixton with his previous band.
