The critically acclaimed drama series continues for a third series. Laura (Katherine Parkinson) is determined to uncover the truth about Operation Basswood and tries to enlist Dr Neil Sommer's (Mark Bonnar) help, but things take an unexpected turn. Mattie (Lucy Carless) and Leo (Colin Morgan) return to the Hawkins home as Leo struggles to come to terms with being human. A surprise night out allows them to confront their feelings for each other. Against his initial judgement, Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) decides to help Karen (Ruth Bradley) with Sam (Billy Jenkins). And Niska (Emily Berrington) receives a mysterious message.
