There is very much a reason why Hayley Kiyoko is the Queen of 20GayTeen. 'What I Need' is one of the best songs from "Expectations" and the video as always more than delivers on the hype. She's got a great vision not only as a singer-songwriter but also as a director, having directed nearly all of her music videos. It pays off in dividends as Hayley very much has a vision for the story of her songs, and allows the videos to act as a further enhancement of them.
