Sacha Osborn Releases New Single 'It Could Be You' on 27th April

Sascha Osborn - Could It Be You - new single - digital release date Friday 27th April 2018.

Could It Be You

The first single from Sascha Osborn’s debut album, ‘Looking Out and After’ recorded and produced by Patrick Wood, due to be released in the autumn
of 2018.

The lyric, inspired by Lunch Poems by Frank O’Hara, was written one lunchtime on a park bench overlooking the River Thames. A reflective song exploring the light and darkness of love, loneliness, uncertainty and hope. A delicate love song, with extended chords floating in cyclic motion, double bass evoking tender ocean depths and sensitive drums and percussion inducing gentle intensity, beautifully produced.

Brief Bio
Sascha Osborn, is a London based singer songwriter, inspired by jazz harmony, soulful melodies and descriptive lyrics - all combining to create reflective heartfelt songs. Influences range from Maria Callas, Billie Holiday, Terry Callier, various ECM artists through to a love of simple everyday natural beauty.

Unexpectedly, a mandatory six-month hiatus from singing proved to be a catalyst in finding her stylistic voice; losing her voice, led her to finding her voice. During this period, she listened to mountains of music and started writing songs on the guitar, singing melodies in her head and then, following further and fuller engagement in song writing, released her debut five-track EP ‘Love Finds You’ on 14th September 2015.

Further developing Sascha’s distinctive sound and influences, her debut album introduces the musical personalities of the talented Patrick Wood (guitars, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, piano) Roy Dodds (drums and percussion) and Simon Edwards (double and electric bass.) If, the EP is a watercolour, thenthe album is an oil painting weaving shades of hope, loss, change, love and reflection; introduced by the first single release, Could It Be You.
