The Lids NEW SINGLE 'I’m So Bleak' Out Now

After playing Y Not, Supporting The Sherlocks and Premiering on Clash, The Lids return with ‘I’m So Bleak’

“Stellar indie rock with a cheeky grin on its face” – Clash

Making all the right noises with anthemic tunes, the energy and connection of two brothers, plus support from the likes of Clash, Radio X and Spotify Official Playlists, Leicestershire’s three-piece indie rock band The Lids return with another riff heavy indie anthem ‘I’m So Bleak’, August 31st.

Having supported High Tyde, The Sherlocks and Superfood and played major festivals such as Tramlines and Y Not Festival, the ambitious trio return after their release of ‘Delectable’, which picked up support from the likes of Clash Magazine, Gigslutz, Amazing Radio and Radio X. The Lids are set to cause carnage with this release, being the real forerunners of the new generation of bands in Leicester.

Having been together for over 3 years, The Lids have made a real name for themselves in the music scene as the ones to watch. With support from the likes of This Feeling, Hot Vox Promotions, SoundHub Studios and Leicester’s number one venue The Cookie, the trio were spotted by Leicester City’s own Christian Fuchs and invited to collaborated on his clothing brand #NoFuchsGiven.

Much like fellow Leicester band Kasabian, and other bands like Royal Blood and Arctic Monkey, The Lids are best known for their stage presences and unforgettable gigs. In support of their new single, the Leicester lads will be playing multiple gigs listed below and more TBC.
