Delayed Departure NEW SINGLE 'Neon Lights' Out Now & VIDEO from EP "Your Colours" Out 19th October 2018

Delayed Departure have just released a brand new single and video for 'Neon Lights'. The track is taken from their upcoming EP 'Your Colours', which is being released on the 19th October 2018.
Vocalist Mike details the inspiration for the new single 'Neon Lights':

"Essentially, this was about a particular night where we all went out as a band and I had that sort of drunken hallucinogenic vision where we felt invincible and unstoppable. The longevity of the night was at the expense of the bright neon lights that were around us, every time I felt as though the night was drawing to a close the lights seemed to get brighter and almost like a moth to a flame drew me back in.”

Neon Lights is available to purchase on iTunes right now, you can also get it instantly by pre-ordering the new EP Your Colours.

'Neon Lights' sees the band using personal experiences and exploring issues that have affected them personally, as do all the tracks on 'Your Colours'. Delayed Departure's third release is destined to be the launchpad for their career with a sound that sits alongside other UK talent such as You Me At Six, Deaf Havana & Mallory Knox.

Delayed Departure are a rock band from Farnborough. Originally four school-mates just enjoying playing covers, they quickly became a quintet and started writing their own material. With two EP's under their belt, the debut "Crafted" saw the band formulating who they were as a band and in 2016 the huge 'Consequences' EP took the band from small-town heroes to a wider audience.

Mike, Charlie, Jamie, Ollie and Steven are striving to always write and record something better than before, their 2018 EP 'Your Colours' is the bands best work to date, drawing on experiences in their daily lives, this new material will speak to people on many personal levels. If Delayed Departure are fresh on your radar, you will come for the story - and stay for the show!
